Our Story
Reimagining bike parking & storage since 2009
The Velo Push Bike Parking story is one of design and innovation starting back in the 1980s with Craig Hyde, the Owner and Founder of Cobra Industrial Design. Craig designed and manufactured a range of equipment, starting in the tyre industry.
But as our ever-changing world’s needs shifted. New opportunities arose in the pushbike parking industry.
Craig would be the one to fill this void. And so, in 2009, began the creation of The Arc. With his two sons, Karl and Cameron, by his side, the innovation of The Arc and many more products began to emerge as the demand for high-quality, innovative bike parking exploded. With this came the evolution of Velo.
Velo is owned by Craig and his sons and has the support and backing of our 35-year + manufacturing company. Our products are now being sold globally, and we have a reputation for quality and innovation. We are known for being second to none.
Today, Velo has developed a strong reputation in local and international markets for quality and innovation.
Velo’s Start was the start of one amazing product that came to light back in 2009. The Arc. At the time, was two massive pieces of steel that pivoted with gas struts for support. Of course, it’s now transformed into the amazing laser cut design that The Arc is today. In fact, it’s a world leader in its architectural design and reliability, Used by thousands of commercial property Businesses owners across the globe. Giving the user the experience they disserve whilst riding to work.
